Duelling Instruments

This is the second ad in the present Jackpot Joy campaign we had a hand in, but this one was by far and away the most fun. We worked with the agency Isobel to re-create Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. The tracks pomp and stuffiness, plus it's notoriety gives viewers a certain expectation, only to be sideswiped by our second performer, who plays to a slightly different tune... We recorded the Cello in the recording studio downstairs and then went about the rather satisfying task of finding and testing props and toys to sound design the second instrument.
